التداول بفيديو قديم للمعارض السوري كمال اللبواني، من دون ذكر تاريخ نشره (2021)، لم يكن الاستعمال الوحيد له في التضليل والتحريض على اللاجئين/ات السوريين/ات. إذ نسبت إليه مسؤوليات مختلقة، مثل أنه «متزعم» المعارضة السورية. ولاحقاً أشير إلى حقيقة تعاونه مع الاحتلال الإسرائيلي.
في الغالب، كانت صفحات قريبة لحزب الله أو موالية له، هي التي ألحقت الفيديو بهذا التوصيف غير الصحيح وهذه المعلومة. ولا يفاجئنا أبداً أن الحزب الذي شارك نظام الأسد في قتل السوريين/ات وتهجيرهم/ن، سعى وسيسعى دائماً إلى تشويه مبادئ ثورتهم/ن على الديكتاتورية.
من المفيد التذكير ببيان «لا نقبل الاحتلال حليفاً لثورتنا»، الذي صدر في 13 أيلول 2014 (أي بعد يومين من ظهور اللبواني في أحضان الاحتلال الإسرائيلي)، عن قواعد دعم الثورة السورية، ووقعه مئات من السوريين/ات والفلسطينيين/ات واللبنانيين/ات. وقد جاء فيه:
«إن المشروع الذي يروج له ويمارسه المعارض السوري كمال اللبواني والمتحالفون معه إذ يُغلف بمحاولة التخلص من نظام الأسد الديكتاتوري فإنه يحمل في عمقه انحرافاً كاملاً عن أهداف الثورة السورية، وتفريطاً مجانيّاً بحقوق الشعبين السوري والفلسطيني اللذين يناضلان للخلاص من حكم القمع والاحتلال، ولا يصب إلّا في خانة تجميل صورة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي قاتل الأطفال في غزة وكامل الأراضي الفلسطينية وشبيه النظام الأسدي قاتل الأطفال في سوريا.
إننا نؤمن أن لا كرامة ولا حرية ولا عدل في التحالف مع إسرائيل التي تحتل الجولان السوري منذ 47 عاماً بعد أن هجّرت غالبية سكانه وهدمت قراه وبيوته، وتحتل فلسطين منذ 66 عامّاً في مجزرة مستمرة من القتل والتهجير وهدم البيوت. كما ونستنكر المحاولات الرامية إلى تبرير التحالف مع إسرائيل تحت شعار «لا صوت يعلو فوق صوت المعركة»، وهو الشعار نفسه الذي استخدمه النظام طيلة عقود من أجل قمع السوريين وثنيهم عن المطالبة بحقوقهم».
Kamal Al-Labwani Does not represent Syrians And their revolution
Circulating an old video of the Syrian dissident Kamal al-Labwani, without actually mentioning the date of its publication (which is 2021), was not the only part used to delude and incite against Syrian refugees. Various powers were attributed to him, such as being the “leader” of the Syrian opposition. And later, the fact of his cooperation with the Israeli occupation was brought up.
Mostly, pages close to or loyal to Hezbollah, were the ones that attached the video to this incorrect description and this information. It does not surprise us at all that the party that participated with the Assad regime in killing and displacing Syrians sought and will always seek to twist the principles of their revolution against dictatorship.
It is benefiting to recall the statement “The Occupation Is Not an Ally to Our Revolution” which was issued on the 13th of September, 2014 (that is, two days post the appearances of Al-Labwani in the arms of the Israeli occupation), about the Syrian Revolution Support Bases, and which was signed by hundreds of Syrians, Palestinians, and Lebanese. It stated:
“Cloaked by the guise of toppling the Assad dictatorship, the project propagated by Kamal Labwani and his allies is a profound departure from the goals of the revolution and a cheap violation of the rights of the Palestinian and Syrian people fighting to put an end to oppression and occupation. Such a project only serves to sugarcoat the Israeli occupation that regularly murders Palestinian children in Gaza and throughout Palestine, precisely like the child-murdering Syrian regime.
We believe that freedom, dignity and justice cannot be achieved through allying with Israel which continues to occupy the Golan Heights for 47 years, after expelling most of its indigenous population and demolishing its homes and villages. This is also the very state that has occupied Palestine for 66 years in an ongoing massacre of killing, displacement and home demolitions.
We also reject any attempt to justify collaboration with Israel by claiming the battle against Assad trumps all. After all, “the battle against Israel trumps all” was the very slogan employed by the Assad regime for decades to oppress the Syrian people and dissuade them from calling for their rights”.
