خلال الأسبوع الماضي، بدأ التداول على «إكس» بصور أسلحة ومخدرات (مصدرها مديرية التوجيه في الجيش) على أنها مضبوطات عُثر عليها لدى لاجئين/ات سوريين/ات داخل المخيمات في لبنان.
كانت هذه الصور، بالنسبة إلى ناشريها (الترتيب بحسب تاريخ النشر: متعدد النشاطات والأدوار عباس زهري، الصحافي أحمد م. ياسين، الصحافية سحر غدار، وربما آخرين/ات)، الدليل القاطع على الخطر الذي يجلبه اللاجئون/ات إلى بلادنا العجيبة.
إذا كانت هذه الصور قد نزعت من سياقها، فإن ما تسعى إليه من تضليل له سياق واضح صار معتاداً: تحريض متعمد على اللاجئين/ات.
ما يلي الصور المتداولة وسياقاتها، وفق بيانات الجيش. يعني حتى الجيش، الذي يداهم المخيمات على نحو دوري وتعسفي، لم يتهم السوريين/ات بها.
During the past week, the circulation of pictures of weapons and drugs on X started (sourced from the Military Guidance Directorate) claiming they were seized from Syrian refugees inside their camps in Lebanon.
For publishers, (in chronological order: the multifaceted Abbas Zahri, the journalist Ahmad M. Yassin, journalist Sahar Ghaddar and possibly others) these pictures served as the conclusive evidence of the danger that refugees bring to our remarkable country.
If these pictures were taken out of context, then what they are attempting through this blatant distortion is evident: deliberate incitement against refugees.
Below are the circulated images and their contexts, according to the army’s statements, it’s worth noting that even the army, which conducts periodic and arbitrary raids on the camps, did not accuse the Syrians of these actions.

A truck carrying about 3.5 million Captagon bills was seized by the army in Taya valley (Bekaa) in Lebanon on July 5, 2023. The army’s statement did not mention the involvement of any Syrians in this incident.
أسلحة صادرها الجيش، في 10 تموز 2023، من حي الشراونة في بعلبك، بعد مداهمته «أماكن تواجد عدد من المطلوبين بتجارة المخدرات والمتهمين بخطف أحد المواطنين السعوديين». لم يشر البيان إلى تورط أي سوري.
Weapons confiscated by the army on July 10, 2023 in Sharawna neighborhood in Baalbeck after raiding “locations where several wanted individuals involved in drug trafficking and accused of kidnapping a Saudi citizen were present.” The statement did not implicate any Syrians.

Weapons, drugs and counterfeit currencies were confiscated by the army on August 5, 2023 from the Marah neighborhood in Hermel, following a raid that resulted in the apprehension of “citizens (A. H. A.), (A. M. A) and (A. A.)”. The statement did not mention Syrians.

Military weapons, hunting rifles and drugs were confiscated by the army on August 9, 2023, after raiding “the homes of wanted individuals in Sharawneh neighborhood in Baalbek.” The statement did not indicate the involvement of Syrians.

Military weapons and ammunition were confiscated by the army on August 27, 2023, “following a family dispute that involved gunfire in the town of Al-Faour town (Bekaa)”. The Army arrested 11 Lebanese and 2 Syrians.
نشر الجيش هاتين الصورتين في بيانه عن «حصيلة التدابير الأمنية خلال شهر تموز 2023»، إلى جانب صور أخرى (بعضها عرض هنا)، من دون توضيح مكان ضبطها أو أسماء المتورطين بحيازتها. لكنه أشار إلى «توقيف 460 شخصاً [خلال تموز] من جنسيات مختلفة، لتورطهم في جرائم وجنح متعددة، منها الإتجار بالمخدرات والقيام بأعمال سرقة وتهريب وحيازة أسلحة وممنوعات». ليس في ما سبق ما يدل على الجنسية السورية بالتحديد.
The army published these two pictures in its statement regarding “Security Measures Report for July 2023” along with other photos (some of which are shown here) without specifying the location where they were seized or the names of those involved in possessing them.
However, it did mention the “arrest of 460 individuals (during July) of various nationalities for their involvement in multiple crimes, including drug trafficking, committing thefts, smuggling and possessing weapons with prohibited items.” The information provided does not specifically indicate Syrian nationality.
