الدفاع عن المغتصب منصور لبكي مهمة لا آخر لها.
أصدقاء منصور لبكي، يصدرون بيانات يستنكرون فيها ما يتعرض له المغتصب من تجن. ثم يدعون إلى لقاء تضامني معه في 27 أيار 2025، في بيت «سيدة نسمة» في المنصورية، «رفضاً للظلم وإصراراً على المواجهة وتبيان الحقيقة». أي حقيقة سيتبينها المجتمعون، في لقائهم هذا، غير أن المغتصب لا يزال طليقاً بلا أي حساب؟
لبكي نفسه لا يوفر مناسبة للظهور، وتكرار حديثه عن مظلوميته والمؤامرات الكثيرة التي حيكت ضده (وضد الكنيسة والمسيحية بالتتابع طبعاً)، وغفرانه لضحاياه، وتشابه حياته مع حيوات القديسين.
آخر هذه المناسبات (بعد مقابلتي موقع النشرة وجريدة نداء الوطن)، حلقة مدتها ساعة ونصف من برنامج «في أمل بلبنان»، الذي تقدمه داليدا اسكندر معيكي، عرضتها في 14 أيار منصة Lebanon hub (تبث من أستراليا)، وشارك فيها لبكي نفسه، بكامل عدته التبريرية، إلى جانب سفير لبنان السابق في الفاتيكان والأرجنتين أنطونيو العنداري، بالإضافة إلى مداخلات من الدكتور صلاح أبو رعد والمخرج إيلي منصور والمحامي طارق الخوند والدكتورة مريم حجازي.
في هذه الحلقة، كان أصدقاء لبكي يقولون إنهم «يكسرون الصمت»، بينما تواصل الكنيسة المارونية ممارسة هوايتها المفضلة في التواطؤ مع المغتصب وحمايته من العدالة.

The defense of the rapist Mansour Labaki is an endless endeavor.
Mansour Labaki’s supporters continue to issue statements denouncing what they call the injustice he is facing. Now, they are calling for a solidarity gathering with him on May 27, 2025, at the “Our Lady of Nesma” house in Mansourieh, “in rejection of injustice, with insistence on confrontation and revealing the truth.” But what truth will the attendees uncover in this meeting, other than the fact that the rapist remains free and unaccountable?
Labaki himself does not miss an opportunity to appear publicly, repeatedly speaking of his victimhood and the numerous conspiracies allegedly waged against him—followed, naturally, by claims that these also target the Church and Christianity. He speaks of forgiving his victims and draws parallels between his life and the lives of saints.
The most recent of these appearances (following interviews with elnashra.com and Nidaa Al Watan newspaper) was a 90-minute episode of the program (“Fi Amal B’Lebanon”: “There is hope in Lebanon”) hosted by Dalida Iskandar Moeiki. It was aired on May 14 by the platform Lebanon Hub, which broadcasts from Australia. Labaki himself took part, fully equipped with his usual justifications, alongside Lebanon’s former ambassador to the Vatican and Argentina, Antonio Andari. The episode also featured interventions from Dr. Salah Abou Raad, director Elie Mansour, lawyer Tarek El-Khawand, and Dr. Mariam Hijazi.
In this episode, Labaki’s friends said they were “breaking the silence,” while the Maronite Church continues to indulge in its favorite pastime of colluding with the rapist and shielding him from justice.
