Rimal Beach Resort، في ذوق مصبح، واحد من هذه المنتجعات العنصرية. فوفق شهادة نشرتها مايا نصار معلوف على حسابها في انستغرام، الجمعة في 13 حزيران 2025، منع العاملون في المنتجع مساعدتها من السباحة، معها ومع طفلها، وطُلب منها الخروج من المسبح. ولم تنفع كل المحاولات، بما في ذلك دفع أموال إضافية، في تغيير ذلك. وقد أكد العاملون في المنتجع لمعلوف أنه قرار متخذ من قبل الإدارة.
مقاطعة هذا المنتجع هي أقل واجب.
Rimal Beach Resort Bans Migrant Domestic Workers from swimming
As with every summer season, many pools and resorts begin enforcing a discriminatory, racist, and illegal policy that bans migrant domestic workers from entering or swimming in their facilities.
Rimal Beach Resort, located in Zouk Mosbeh, is one of several establishments enforcing such discriminatory practices. According to a statement shared by Maya Nassar Maalouf on her Instagram account on Friday, June 13, 2025, staff at the resort prevented her domestic worker from swimming with her and her child, and asked her to leave the pool. All attempts to resolve the issue—including offering to pay an additional fee—were unsuccessful. The staff confirmed to Maalouf that this policy was a directive from the resort’s management.
Boycotting this resort is the very least that can be done.
