يبدو أنّ الهجوم على الكوميديين بات «ترندا جديدا» لدى حماة الإيمان، وهذه المرّة دور الغضب الموسمي وقع على الكوميدي ماريو مبارك.
«جيش الغيرة المفاجئة على الدين» لا يستيقظ من سباته إلا بسبب نكتة، بينما يغطّ في صمت كامل أمام الظلم الحقيقي، والنهب اليومي، وانتهاك أبسط حقوق الناس. وكأنّ النكتة تهدّد المجتمع أكثر من الانهيارات، والفساد، والاحتكار، وغياب العدالة.
إن الدفاع عن ماريو ليس دفاعا عن جملة قالها، بل دفاعا عن حقّنا جميعا في أن نقول ونضحك ونسأل وننتقد بلا خوف. لأن إسكات فنان اليوم يفتح الباب لإسكات مجتمع بأكمله غدًا.
فالهجمة التي يتعرّض لها ليست دفاعا عن المقدّس كما يقال، بل دفاعا عن عقلية قديمة لا تحتمل الحرية ولا تقبل الاختلاف، هي وصاية فاشلة تضع على وجهها قناع الدين.
فالإيمان لا يحتاج إلى شتائم ولا حملات ترهيب إلكترونية والمقدّس الحقيقي لا يعلو شأنه بالتهديد. والعقيدة الراسخة لا تهتزّ بنكتة.
Seasonal outrage and fragile faith!
It appears that targeting comedians has become the latest trend among the self-proclaimed guardians of faith. This time, the seasonal wave of indignation has focused on comedian Mario Moubarak.
“The sudden army of self-declared defenders of religion” seems to awaken only for a joke, while it remains entirely silent in the face of real injustice, daily plunder, and the violation of people’s most basic rights. As if a joke poses a greater threat to society than collapse, corruption, monopolies, and the absence of justice.
Defending Mario is not about defending a single line he uttered; it is about defending our collective right to speak, to laugh, to question, and to criticize without fear. Silencing an artist today opens the door to silencing an entire society tomorrow.
The campaign against him is not, as claimed, a defense of the sacred. It is a defense of an outdated mentality that cannot tolerate freedom or accept difference — a failed form of guardianship hiding behind the mask of religion.
True faith needs neither insults nor online intimidation campaigns, and what is genuinely sacred is not elevated through threats. A firmly rooted belief does not tremble because of a joke.
