لا تتوقف، منذ أشهر، جريدة نداء الوطن بكتابها ومراسليها عن التضليل والتحريض ضد اللاجئين/ات السوريين/ات. وآخر مآثرها المهنية، ما نشرته في عدد الأربعاء في 11 تشرين الأول 2023، على غلافها عن «قلق من انتشار النازحين السوريين في مناطق حدودية».
وفي الافتتاحية تكتب الجريدة: أفادت مراسلة نداء الوطن في النبطية رمال جوني أن حركة النزوح من البلدات كانت لافتة ومتفاوتة في آن. وقال رئيس بلدية رميش ميلاد العلم أن حركة النزوح من البلدة نحو بيروت كانت كبيرة نسبياً، غير أنه استغرب وجود حركة دخول كبيرة للنازحين السوريين نحو البلدة. وأوضح العلم أنه «في وقت رحل أبناء البلدة خوفاً، فاجأنا دخول السوريين بأعداد كبيرة نحو البلدة». وأشار إلى أنه جرى توقيفهم وترحيل من دخل خلسة. وأعلن «لا أعرف إن كانوا مدسوسين أو لديهم هدف السرقة أو ربما احتلال منازلنا». وأشار إلى أنهم «حين حاولوا الدخول ليلاً كانوا يكبّرون الله أكبر»، وهذا أمر يستدعي القلق. ولفت في هذا الإطار إلى وجود تنسيق كامل مع بلدية عيتا الشعب في هذا الملف.
مشهد مليء بالتفاصيل المخيفة، يعطيكِ العافية رمال، لكن ينقصه ذكر التفصيل الأهم بوضوح: هؤلاء السوريون/ات جاءوا من البلدة المجاورة عيتا الشعب، التي نزح بعض من أهلها من بيوتهم/ن جراء الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية في اليومين الماضيين. ومثلهم/ن، حاول سكان البلدة من السوريين/ات، بإمكانياتهم/ن القليلة والمحدودة، النزوح إلى مكان قريب اعتقدوا/ن أنه أكثر أمناً. ما يعني أنهم/ن لم يأتُ من مؤامرة متخيلة، أو اللامكان، كما ليسوا «مدسوسين أو لديهم هدف السرقة أو ربما احتلال منازلنا»، كما زعم رئيس بلدية رميش العنصري ميلاد العلم. لكن من يأبه بالتدقيق في هذه التفاصيل، إذا كان يعمل في جريدة يرأس تحريرها بشارة شربل؟
مع ذلك، وفي أساس المسألة، يبقى مشيناً ومستغرباً أن ترفض بلدية رميش استقبال أي كان، وتحديداً السوريين/ات، في مثل هذه الظروف الحربية. وهذا ما عبّر عنه كاهن رعية رميش نجيب العميل، في حديثه إلى إذاعة «صوت لبنان»، صباح 11 تشرين الأول، بوضوح يدعو إلى الاشمئزاز والخجل. إذ قال «يلي حصل إنو بعد العملية يلي حصلت ببلدة الضهيرة، جيش الاحتلال بلش بقصف المناطق، وأكتر شي تركز القصف على محيط بلدتي رميش وعيتا الشعب. أهالي عيتا الشعب نزحوا كلن ع بيروت، كل واحد ركب بسيارتو وفل هو وعيلتو، يعني أكتر من تلات أرباع الأهالي فلوا. مبدئياً بعيتا الشعب وبرميش في سوريين، برميش في فوق الألف شخص، وبعيتا الشعب في هيدا العدد. السوريين يلي بعيتا الشعب ما عندن سيارات ليفلوا، إجوا مشي من عيتا الشعب ليلتجو برميش، فنحن ما قبلنا، الشباب عنا قالوا لأ، لأن ما فينا نتحمل. بحرب تموز تحملنا لإنو كانوا كلن لبنانيين، وقعدوا عنا 33 يوم، وبعدين لما وقفت الحرب رجعوا على بيوتهم، لكن هودي [السوريين/ات] إذا إجوا لعنا وين بدن يروحوا بعد ما توقف الحرب، ما بيرجعوا محل ما كانوا، عنا ألف واحد أصلاً، وين بدنا نروح فيهن؟ وإذا إجوا لعنا يمكن يلاقوا بيت فاضي ما يرجعوا يطلعوا منو، لهذا السبب ما قبلنا إنو يفوتو على الضيعة».
في كل الأحوال، الخبر الكاذب والمضلل الذي نشرته نداء الوطن، صباحاً، بدأ ينمو ويمشي. هكذا، دعا النائب فريد البستاني (مستقل)، في حسابه على «إكس»، «الأجهزة العسكرية والأمنية إلى التحقق العاجل من احتمال وجود عمليات ترانسفير للنازحين صوب القرى الحدودية (رميش مثالاً) التي يخليها أبناؤها بفعل الأوضاع العسكرية. إن صحّ هذا فهو أمر خطير ينمّ عن نوايا سيئة ويجب ردعه في الحال».
وقالت النائبة غادة أيوب (القوات اللبنانية)، على «إكس»، «في غياب الدولة يُترك الجنوبيون لمصيرهم إذ نشهد نزوحاً داخليا تحسُّباً من توريط لبنان في حرب لا قدرة لنا على تحمل تداعياتها، يقابله احتلال سوري للقرى الجنوبية الآمنة».
حقارة بلا حدود.
Rmeish refuses to welcome Syrian refugees from Ayta Al-Shaab
Nonetheless, for months, the newspaper “Nidaa Al-Watan” with its writers and correspondents has not refrained from misleading and inciting against Syrian refugees. Its latest professional achievement, published on its cover, in the wednesday issue of October 11, 2023, was “concerns about the spread of Syrian refugees in border areas”.
In the Nidaa Al-Watan editorial, the correspondent Remmal Jouni in Nabatieh, reported that the movement of displacement from the towns was noticeable and varied simultaneously. The Mayor of Rmeish, Milad Al-Alam, mentioned that the movement of displacement from the town towards Beirut was relatively significant. However, he was surprised by the large influx of Syrian refugees into the town. Al- Alam explained,”while the town’s residents left out of fear, we were surprised by the entry of a large number of Syrians into the town”. He mentioned that those who entered secretly were detained and deported. He said: “I don’t know whether they were infiltrators or had intentions of theft or perhaps even occupying our homes”. He pointed out that “when they tried to enter at night, they would shout Allahu Akbar, which is a cause for concern”. In this context, he emphasized full coordination with the municipality of Ayta Al-Shaab on this issue.
A scene filled with frightening details! Well done Remmal! However, it lacks mentioning a crucial detail: those Syrians came from the neighboring town of Ayta Al-Shaab, where some of its residents had to leave their homes due to Israeli attacks in the past two days. Similarly, the Syrian residents of the town, with their limited resources, attempted to move to what they believed to be a safer nearby location. This implies, they did not come as part of an imaginary conspiracy, nor from nowhere. Additionally, they aren’t “infiltrators with intentions of theft or perhaps even occupying our homes”, as claimed by the biased Mayor of Rmeish, Milad Al-Alam. However, who cares to scrutinize these details when working for a newspaper led by a figure like Beshara Charbel?
Nonetheless, It is fundamental to say that this remains disturbing and bewildering that the municipality of Rmeish refuses to welcome anyone, especially Syrians, in such war-torn circumstances. This sentiment was explicitly expressed in a manner that calls for disgust and shame by the priest of the Rmeish parish, Najib Al-Amil, during his interview with “Voice of Lebanon” radio on the morning of October 11. He stated “what happened is that after the operation that occurred in the town of Al-Dahira, the Israeli army began shelling the areas with a heavy focus on the vicinity of Rmeish and Ayta Al-Shaab, the latter residents’ fled to Beirut via their cars, nearly three quarters of the population left. Initially, there are over a thousand Syrians in Rmeish and this applies to Ayta Al-Shaab also. The Syrians in Ayta Al-Shaab do not have cars, They reached Rmeish through walking. We did not accept them because our men stated that we can not bear it. During the July war, we received runners knowing they were all Lebanese and they stayed with us for 33 days. After the end of the war, they returned back to their homes. However, these (Syrians) if received, where can they go after the war ends? They will go nowhere and we already have a thousand of them. Where would we accommodate them? Moreover, they may find an empty house, settle in it and refuse to leave. For this reason, we did not allow them to enter the village”.
Nevertheless, the false and misleading news published by Nidaa Al-Watan in the morning has started to spread and gain momentum. Therefore, MP Farid Al-Bustani (independent), in his post on “X”, called on “the military and security services to urgently investigate the possibility of refugees’ transfer to border villages (Rmeish as an example) that are being vacated by their residents due to the military situation. If this is true, it is a dangerous matter that reflects ill intentions and should be deterred immediately”.
MP, Ghada Ayoub (Lebanese Forces) posted on “X”, “In the absence of the state, southerners are left to their fate, as we are witnessing internal displacement out of fear that Lebanon will be involved in a war that we cannot bear its consequences, while being met with a Syrian occupation of safe southern villages”.
