استكملت بلدية صيدا حملة التشبيح على الشاطئ الشعبي، برفعها أمس الأحد لافتة عند مدخله تحدد فيها شروط الوصول إليه، بما في ذلك «التقيد باللباس المحتشم» و«يمنع إحضار المشروبات الروحية».
اللافت في هذا القرار التعسفي، المتعارض مع أبسط الحريات والحقوق الشخصية والعامة، أن اللوحة حملت شعار وزارة الأشغال العامة. فهل أصبح بين الوزارات وزارات «محافظة» أيضاً، تريد فرض شروطها بشأن طرق الانتفاع من الأملاك العامة؟
وكانت البلدية ساهمت الأحد، عبر الطلب من محافظ الجنوب الاستعانة بقوى الأمن، في منع مجموعات من عقد مؤتمر صحافي على شاطئ البحر، للاحتجاج على مصادرة الحق العام بالوصول إليه واستنكاراً للاعتداء الذي تعرضت له سيدة وزوجها في 15 أيار 2023.

What is remarkable about this arbitrary decision, which contradicts the most basic freedom and personal and public rights, is the logo of the Ministry of Public Works. Are there now “conservative” ministries that want to enforce their terms of use for public properties?
Yesterday, the municipality also asked the Southern governor for Security Forces enforcement to prevent groups of activists from holding a press conference by the seaside to protest against the confiscation of the public right of accessing the beach and to condemn the assault on a woman and her husband that happened on May 15, 2023.
